Tasting Notes

Winemaker Tracey Reichow

A lovely black fruit Cabernet Sauvignon from the Coombsville area of the Napa Valley.  Deep, fresh blackberry, black cherry, black plum fruit flavors accent this sophisticated wine.  The aromatics are quite ... sensuous! Big, ripe currants and plum.  The fruit continues throughout the entire length of the palate, with cherry notes continuing well into the finish.  Layers of fruit and tannins come together to create a wonderfully balanced, lush wine made to enhance your meal.

Estate Vineyard, Coombsville, Napa Valley

This vineyard is located at the estate in the newly recognized but long established Coombsville AVA at the southeastern corner of the Napa Valley.  Volcanic soils, light morning fog and afternoon breezes here create idyllic conditions for ripening to occur at a consistent moderate pace resulting in grapes that produce this rich Cabernet Sauvignon.
