An intrepid and sociable family pet, Black Cat accompanied the Reichows on their cross-country move to Napa Valley. He showed an immediate affinity for the vineyard and became Tracey’s perpetual companion during the long days of developing and planting the vineyard. One evening a group of four like-minded and nearly identical felines joined him on the edge of the estate vineyard, seeming to lay claim to the venture that was developing beneath their paws. Five black cats on a moonlit night must surely be an omen of good fortune!
