Some notes from visitors to BCV:

Tracey:  I just wanted to tell you how much Shannon and I enjoyed the 2007 Cab you just sent us.  The nose was crazy good with an almost sweet big fruit smell.  The big blackberry...and I got blueberry... taste was insane.  The tannins were well balanced for such a young cab and yes...that Rutherford dust was easy to catch. The finish lingered on...and on...and on!  I was sorry to see the bottle end, but happy to know that I have 2 more bottles in the cellar.  We tried another 2007 cab the next night and although about $20 cheaper, it was such a disappointment after the Blackcat Cab the previous night.  You are such a talented wine maker.  Shannon and I are always bragging to our friends about your wines...you are our favorite by far.  Your wines are consistently great and I look forward to tasting the Cuvee next.  We can't wait to see you when we visit Napa next time.  Cheers, Shane and Shannon

"Girl with a Glass"/blog says......Black Cat Vineyard.  This must be the smallest winery in Napa. One woman does it all, and I mean everything.  When you visit Black Cat Winery, leave the cell phone, camera and video recorder in the car. Be in the moment and soak up Tracey Reichow’s massively intelligent and fascinating wine knowledge.  The view is outstanding, but her explanation about the Coombsville region being “wine mecca” makes it unforgettable.
